Tuesday - another day another dollar
Things seem to be settling down at work now, just in time for Julian to part us full time. I will miss him so terribly. He has been my back bone of confidence since I started at the gallery and I have learnt so much from him. It will be interesting to see for me, how I cope without him, knowing that he has always been around to run things by. Wednesday, at some point, we are all having a meeting to discuss his new part time role and where that should fit in.
Mark is making a point that we need to start actively doing more together rather than staying at home, him in one room and me in the other. So, after tea we went out. I suggested first that we go to the arcade. I love the 2p machine - drop em in and watch the money drop out after being pushed and scooped along. I'm a very cheap date!! £1 lasted an hour!!
We then went to Gunwharf and had a drink in Ha Ha Bar. Ulri, you will be so proud of me....I had tea! Not often I can say that when visiting a bar!! Then we went to the cinema to see the sequel to 'Get Shorty' - 'Be Cool'. On the whole it was pretty good - bit slow in places but I did laugh out loud quite a bit. They tried to play on the film Pulp Fiction a bit, mainly cause the stars that were in it were the stars in Pulp. So you had Uma Therman doing the dance with John Travalta again; Harvey Kietel etc. If you haven't seen Dodge Ball yet incidentally - get it out on video/DVD. We saw it in the park in Sydney and it was so funny. The reason why I say that is cause the lead actor in that is in Be Cool. Don't ask me names...I never remember them!
Well I am writing at 5.30am on Wednesday...as usual can't sleep. Always good time to write blog. Hope you like the pic of me with Pooh Bear outside the arcade. Thought it appropriate having just read the phylosopical book of Pooh!
See y'all and have a great day!
