Monday in Sweden

Come the evening of Monday, when we'd got back from the football, at about 10pm we decided to go for a drink. Ulri was taking me to this new hotel where she had recently been with a friend and new I would definately love it there. She was right ofcourse. I told her to pack the camara as I wasn't carrying a bag, and she said 'always. Got there and did she have it!!!!!?

We caught a bus to this hotel and went inside. It was amazing. Really contemporary and classy without making you feel intimidated. The artwork was beautiful and well co-ordinated with the decor throughout. I loved the way all the signage was in relief off the wall yet still remaining as white as the wall. Very tactile. The bars were elegant and stylish and this is where we had a strawberry daquiri and a raspberry one each.

I am really enjoying my time away from reality for a bit and Ulri is making me feel so welcome. I do feel like she is a sister to me, and I hope that my own sister and I will become closer now.

It was 11ish when we got home and decided we were hungry. I had made a huge pot of spaghetti bolognese the night before so it was all ready and waiting. After that I decided to do my blog but ended up til quite late talking on line. Naughty but nice!!

Anyway, late night, early start. I am off out on my own today to explore the city as Ulri has lots of work to catch up on. She is meeting me later on and we are going to an adventure park on the same island as before. There is also going to be a concert there too, so we are looking forward to some more live music. Am really into live music at the minute. You just can't beat it!
