Midsomers Day!
Ulri had to work today so I took myself off. Let me just get this clear. I took MYSELF, ALONE, off...in Sweden!! This is a major step for me...and it was liberating.
I walked alongside the water and finally ended up at the City Hall. I had stopped for water and a paddle over looking the most spectacular view of Stockholm's old city. The sun was really warm and I felt really good. I had my walkman on listening to the Gypsy Kings too. I love them!
I signed up for a guided tour at 12 and sat outside in the beautiful grounds til then. The tour was interesting, although too much information for me! I did learn that the word 'Window' comes from Sweden orginally!
After the City Hall I walked back to the old town for lunch and to do a bit of shopping.
