Saturday Night Continued

Last night turned out to be quite good fun. The boys were desperately trying to get their driving licenses on Grand Tourismo 4 but were failing miserably....to the point where they gave up! 'This game is only good if you have played all the others and you take it really seriously!!! and are really into cars big time!' Crap excuse, but there you go. Luckily Kylie's concert came on to distract them.

While we were playing, the fire brigade turned up outside our house and me being nosy and coincidentally having my camara available I went to investigate by poking my head outside the front door and quickly clicking on the camara!! Something was wrong with opposite neighbour's car. After awhile the fire brigade left and an AA man turned up. The girl was hanging around the car so I went out to her and asked what was wrong. Turns out she has a fuel leak. The AA man needed to drain the tank so we lent her our petrol pot (don't know word for it - forgive me!) Sometime later she knocked on the door with a full can for us!!! One good deed and all that!!

Finally, at 9pm Ulri turned up just in time for me to dish up bangers and cheesy, creamy mash with onion gravy:) It went down well, but there were still 4 more sausages available! But apparently everyone was full up.!! Watching Kylie's concert actually started to bore me and so after dinner I had a boogie in the dining room on my own to a fantastic remix from a CD called Mardi Gras which was given as a christmas present in Sydney. (We all bought eachother $10 pressies. This was by far the best).

So all in all a good night - even if I did fall asleep on the couch to be woken up by Mark telling me to go to bed - and me insisting that I was not asleep but watching some programme about a straight girl selecting a straight guy from gay guys. Unfortunately she lost cause she picked a gay guy, so he won all the money - think he gave half to her - I only knew this because Ulri had told me all this before it started...It was pure coincidence that it came on!

Anyway, soon we are off out to Goodwood Sculpture Park. Philip Jackson is exhibiting there and I am led to believe that the 80 yr old is a fantastic artist. See - even on my days off I cannot get away from Art and that's a cool thing. Hopefully we will have a good pub lunch out and then come home so I can do some gardening, now that the sun is out!
BTW, looked in fridge this morning to discover that there are only two and a half sausages left!!!! No one is taking responsibility!!!

See y'all soon. Take care x x x

Hope the sculpture park was stimulating. It sounds awesome. And that you had a great day.

Sounds like a lot more fun than my Saturday night, which basically consists of chatting online and doing my nails - although that's still new for me, so it's kind of fun :)
