Birthday treat

It was my birthday last Friday and Dom took me to Paris for the weekend. It was wonderful. The weather was perfect... blue skies. We visited the Sacre Coeur, had breakfast by the Seine before we walked along its edge. And wandered around the beautiful streets so infamous to Gay Paris. Although we went Saturday morning and came back Sunday evening, it felt a lot longer.

When Dom told me he was taking me I nearly said 'No' because of leaving Meg. But I thank God I didn't. She was in very capable hands with our friends Matina and Kai. And when we got home she didn't seem like she had missed us at all! It is reassuring for me that I know I can leave her with people if necessary. For me it is necessary as it gives Dom and I time together alone.
